Marc Collins

General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer

Marc joined RiverNorth in 2012 and serves as General Counsel. Marc is also Chief Compliance Officer of RiverNorth Capital Management, LLC and RiverNorth Funds.

Prior to joining RiverNorth, Marc was an attorney in the investment management practice group at Thompson Hine LLP where he counseled clients regarding various aspects of the federal securities laws applicable to investment advisers, investment companies and broker-dealers. Prior to Thompson Hine, Marc was Second Vice-President and Counsel at Ohio National Financial Services. Marc provided legal guidance to all of Ohio National's securities-related subsidiaries, which included broker-dealers, investment companies, investment advisers and issuers of variable insurance products.

Marc graduated from Carson Newman University in Tennessee with a B.A. in Political Science. He earned his law degree from Northern Kentucky University's Chase College of Law and his MBA from Northern Kentucky University’s Haile College of Business.
