Matt Bey

Director of Operations

Matt joined RiverNorth in 2024 and serves as Director of Operations. Matt is responsible for operational aspects of RiverNorth's funds and limited partnerships.

Prior to joining RiverNorth, Matt was the Director of Operations at Readystate Asset Management. In his role, he oversaw the firm's investment operations and treasury functions for Readystate's multi-strategy hedge fund. Prior to Readystate, Matt was the Chief Operating Officer at Rayens Capital Management, a Chicago based global macro hedge fund. At Rayens, Matt built and managed all aspects of the firm's operations, finance, and compliance functions. Previously, Matt was an index derivatives trader at IMC Trading, a global market making firm. Matt spent his early career in global operations at Citadel.

Matt holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BBA in Finance from Ohio University.
