Mr. Schmucker founded RiverNorth Capital Management, LLC in 2000. As Chief Executive Officer of RiverNorth, Brian is responsible for firm-wide management, strategic planning and business development.

Brian has served as an executive officer for over 12 years. He has been a featured speaker on topics such as closed-end funds, hedge funds, entrepreneurship, and other finance topics at various universities and business roundtable discussions. Brian is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Education. He serves on the Committee of Hearts for Hedge Funds Care and is actively involved in other charitable organizations throughout Chicago.
