Greg Uythoven Joins RiverNorth

RiverNorth Capital Management, LLC ("RiverNorth"), a boutique investment management firm specializing in opportunistic strategies, today announced that Greg Uythoven has joined the firm as an Institutional Portfolio Specialist. In this role, Uythoven is responsible for supporting the investment management team by serving as a liaison between RiverNorth’s portfolio managers and institutional investor base.

Uythoven joins RiverNorth from DoubleLine Capital, where he was a Partner working with institutional clients and consultants and also assisted in establishing the Product Solutions Group as a Client Portfolio Manager. His primary responsibilities included new product development and dissemination of the firm's investment process, philosophy, portfolio construction, and performance to clients and consultants. Prior to serving as a Client Portfolio Manager, Uythoven was the Director of Institutional Sales and Consultant Relations overseeing a group of investment professionals that helped grow assets to $65 billion. Before DoubleLine, Uythoven was a Senior Vice President at TCW as a member of the Multi-Strategy Fixed Income team responsible for the day-to-day management of the product. Uythoven graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a B.A in Quantitative Economics and Decision Sciences. He holds his Series 7 and 63 licenses.
